Red, broken vascular lesions (telangectasias) usually appear at the base of the nose and on the cheeks, and look like thin red or blueish-purple thread veins, dilated capillaries, or spider veins. They can also appear on the body, such as the chest area. These vascular marks are unable to repair by themselves, but can be treated.
