London’s most capable and in-demand facialists

Oxygen is one of the most important elements to keep skin healthy. So it makes sense that more treatments are harnessing its powers to help heal and restore the dermis.
The Skinstorm Facial device is one of the newest gadgets at this west London clinic, and has six settings which can be combined depending on skin conditions during an hour-long facial. These range from an “oxygen ice vortex” to cleanse (which feels as if you’re being blasted by a tiny freezing hose) to “ice needling”, a very cold version of microneedling, which pushes serums and oxygen into the skin, thus kickstarting deeper layers into producing more collagen and hyaluronic acid.
Why the need for everything to be so chilly? Heating the skin stresses it, whereas if it’s cooled it is more receptive. The treatment might sound gimmicky but the results — plumper, smoother skin — are immediate. It’s especially good for those prone to heat reactions.
