HALO by Sciton
HALO® – The world’s first hybrid fractional laser.
At the Clinic Holland Park, West London, we are pleased to offer HALO® – the most precise, comfortable, and consistent non-ablative technology on the market, and is revolutionising laser skin resurfacing.
What is HALO®?
HALO® combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to address multiple levels of skin concerns in only 1-2 treatments. It is suitable for all skin types and ethnicities and can be used anywhere on the body: face, neck, chest, arms, legs.
A HALO® treatment simultaneously delivers non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone, providing both short-term and long-term benefits to a wide variety of skin concerns that results in an unmatched improvement in the appearance of ageing skin. Remarkable results can be achieved in 1-2 treatments (while older, non-hybrid technologies typically require 5-6 treatments to demonstrate similar results). Even better: downtime with HALO® is minimal, and you can resume regular activity within 24 hours after a treatment.
HALO®s ablative wavelengths target and treat the skin for surface-level conditions such as textural issues and enlarged pores, while the non-ablative wavelength targets deeper sun damage and other pigmentation issues. Its powerful technology delivers safe, consistent, and precise results every time; and by creating small thermal injuries in the skin, collagen production is stimulated, and new, healthy skin is produced in a short amount of time.
Our experts Richard Scawn and Jennifer Doyle are both Sciton® Key Opinion Leaders, making us a premier destination in West London for these results-driven skin treatments.
HALO® treats a variety of common skin concerns, including:
- Fine lines and wrinkles: even the most deep-set wrinkles can be significantly improved with a series of regular treatments.
- Enlarged pores: HALO® triggers your body’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of new, healthy cells that help reduce the appearance of large pores.
- Sun damage and pigmentation: specifically targets sun spots, discolouration, actinic keratoses, and other visible signs of ageing, to increase skin reflectivity and radiance post treatment.
FAQs
HALO® treatments can be performed on the face and body for all ethnicities – Fitzpatrick types I-VI.
We use a high-grade topical anaesthetic cream to the numb the treatment area before this procedure (no nerve blocks), and patients can resume regular activity within 24 hours after treatment.
You are advised to sleep on fresh bed linen, and not to use any products on your face (or other treated areas) for the first 24 hours – only a splash of water. You will be given a tube of dermatological cream to take home with you, to be applied to the treated area for at least 4 days following treatment. The skin on the treated area will peel, but this will happen quickly, and you will not feel any discomfort or soreness.
Due to its fractionated nature, most patients require 1-2 HALO® treatments to achieve their aesthetic goals (depending on intensity). Thereafter, we advise a maintenance treatment with HALO® or MOXI® once or twice a year, as needed.
