Sciton HALO® TRIBRID™
Introducing Sciton’s HALO® TRIBRID™: now available in the UK, exclusively at The Clinic Holland Park
At The Clinic Holland Park, West London, we are proud to pioneer Sciton’s HALO® TRIBRID™ in the UK aesthetics market – the world’s first triple-wavelength hybrid fractional laser. The groundbreaking technology behind HALO® TRIBRID™ elevates non-surgical skin rejuvenation to new heights, addressing a whole spectrum of concerns – from the signs of ageing to pigmentation and textural irregularities.
Unlock limitless skin resurfacing with HALO® TRIBRID™
- Elite results, minimal interruption: the world’s first and only triple-wavelength resurfacing laser delivered via a single, intelligent handpiece. Three synergistic wavelengths target every layer of the skin (epidermis, dermis, and subdermis) in one single, customisable treatment; and with low downtime (starting from 3-5 days, but longer with more intense treatments).
- Comprehensive single-session results: addressing texture, pigmentation, tone, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne scars, body scars, redness and vascularity, and mild skin laxity – with outcomes rivalling fully ablative lasers but without their extended recovery.
- Suitable for all skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI): on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, legs, or body – all year-round.
- Better than the previous MOXI-HALO STAX treatment – HALO® TRIBRID™ is quicker, more powerful, and safer – delivery of triple wavelengths in one handpiece ensures no skin is over treated; while the handpiece’s huge, tuneable range of treatment options can be exactly customised for individual patient needs.

FAQs
Sciton’s HALO® TRIBRID™ is an advanced laser system that integrates three independently controlled wavelengths into a single handpiece: 2940nm (ablative); 1927nm (non-ablative); and 1470nm (non-ablative). This innovative fusion combines the original HALO for hybrid resurfacing with MOXI for gentle prejuvenation, and with Dual-Mode Erbium for deep skin renewal. As a fractional laser, HALO® TRIBRID™ targets microscopic zones of the skin while preserving surrounding tissue, promoting rapid healing and transformative outcomes in one streamlined session.
HALO® TRIBRID™ uses a synchronised delivery of its three wavelengths, with each tailored to specific skin layers for optimal results. The 2940nm wavelength provides ablative action, vapourising superficial damaged tissue (such as acne scars) to refine texture and eradicate pigmentation; the 1470nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the dermis, stimulating collagen production and elastin remodelling to address skin laxity, deep scars and wrinkles; the 1927nm wavelength addresses superficial tone, imperfections and pigmentation, while restoring luminosity. During a treatment, the device’s Dynamic Thermal Optimisation (DTO) allows HALO® TRIBRID™ to continuously monitor skin temperature and adjust energy output in real time, ensuring even coverage and consistent results; while the integrated air cooling further enhances patient comfort.
Yes. Our Aesthetics Lead, Dr Jennifer Doyle, is a Key Opinion Leader for Sciton. HALO® TRIBRID™ is engineered with safety as a paramount priority, making it suitable for all skin types (Fitzpatrick types I-VI) when administered by qualified professionals. During each HALO® TRIBRID™ session, the Dynamic Thermal Optimisation (DTO) allows the handpiece to continuously monitor skin temperature and adjust energy output in real time, ensuring even coverage and consistent results while preventing hot spots. So while all laser treatments inherently carry minor risks – such as temporary redness, swelling, or (in rare instances) pigmentation changes – the advanced technology in HALO® TRIBRID™ mitigates these issues better than any other laser device on the aesthetics market.
HALO® TRIBRID™ is suitable for all skin types and ethnicities (Fitzpatrick I-VI).
However, this treatment is not suitable for people who are heavily tanned, or have the following conditions:
- Active skin infections or cancer,
- Pregnancy,
- Use of photosensitising medication,
- Use of isotretinoin in the past six months,
- Uncontrolled autoimmune disorders,
- Keloid-scar-prone individuals.
Topical anaesthetic cream is applied 30 minutes before the session to numb the treatable area and ensure the most comfortable experience. Patient discomfort will depend on how intense the treatment is going to be; although HALO® TRIBRID™’s integrated air-cooling system further enhances comfort for the patient.
Immediately following the procedure, the skin may feel warm (like mild sunburn) for 30 to 60 minutes. Downtime proper is usually brief – three to seven days, depending on treatment intensity – with redness, swelling, and flaking resolving as new skin emerges.
- Day 1: warmth, redness, and slight swelling, comparable to sunburn.
- Days 2–3: bronzed texture as debris surfaces.
- Days 4–5: natural flaking reveals fresh skin.
Most individuals resume normal activities within days; although for the first 72 hours post treatment, we advise limiting strenuous exercise or extreme heat exposure (hot showers, saunas) to prevent complications.
Please notify us of medications, skin conditions, or recent treatments during your initial consultation.
- Please avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks prior to a treatment, in order to minimise risks of unwanted pigmentation.
- Patients with a history of herpes simplex (cold sores) should commence their antiviral medication as prescribed.
- Please discontinue retinoids, exfoliants, and harsh active ingredients for 7–14 days before a treatment.
- Maintain hydration and a gentle skincare regime.
- Patients who have used isotretinoin within the past six months, or have active skin conditions, may need their HALO® TRIBRID™ session to be deferred.
Yes: aftercare is essential to support healing and maximise benefits.
- Cleanse gently with a hydrating cleanser.
- Apply soothing moisturiser and hyaluronic acid serum 4–6 times daily.
- Avoid active ingredients such as retinol or Vitamin C for the first two weeks.
- Sunscreen (SPF 50+) is mandatory; and avoid direct sun for at least 7 days.
- Do not use makeup, heat, or irritants until the skin is healed.
HALO® TRIBRID™ fosters a radiant, youthful glow by accelerating the skin’s natural renewal processes. Initial improvements, such as refined texture and reduced pigmentation, often become noticeable within a few days as the treated skin sloughs away to reveal fresher layers beneath. Optimal results emerge progressively over the ensuing weeks to months, as collagen synthesis continues.
- Immediate effects post flaking: glow and luminosity.
- 1 week: visible smoothing, even tone.
- 2–4 weeks: peak collagen response – firmer, youthful skin.
- Long-term: long-lasting rejuvenation, with diligent care and annual maintenance.
Patients can expect a profound enhancement in skin quality, including smoother texture, diminished fine lines and wrinkles, a brighter and more even tone, reduced pore visibility, and faded discolouration from sun damage or ageing.
For many, a single intensive session will suffice to achieve dramatic improvements; while others may benefit from one to two treatments spaced several weeks apart for progressive refinement. Each patient will have a HALO® TRIBRID™ session that is meticulously tailored to their skin condition and their specific goals. To sustain the rejuvenated appearance, we recommend maintenance sessions once or twice a year, complemented by a robust at-home skincare routine.
