Brow Lift
Brow lifts can be performed as standalone surgery or as a complement to eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Depending on the circumstances and goals of the patient, there are three main surgical techniques: the internal brow fixation (aka browpexy); the direct brow brow lift; and the pre-trichial or temporal pre-trichial brow lift.

Types of Brow Lift Surgery
A browpexy is often done at the same time as an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to provide additional support for the lifting effect. It is performed through the upper lid incision and there is no visible scarring – only the incision in the eyelid made for the blepharoplasty, which forms the new eyelid crease. However, it is not as powerful as other brow lift modalities.
A direct brow lift has excellent lifting power, with excisions of skin above the eyebrows. Thick brow hair masks incision lines; but even in patients with thin brow hair, the incision lines usually heal and fade.
A pre-trichial brow lift has its incision just in front of the hairline of the upper forehead. Advantages of this technique are that scarring is usually hidden; and as the procedure lowers the brow line, it is good for people with a high brow line. Alternatively, the temporal pre-trichial brow lift makes crescent-shaped incisions at the temple areas only, just in front of the hairline, to correct lateral brow ptosis.

We have two state-of-the-art operating theatres installed on our lower-ground floor; and to afford our clients ultimate comfort and discretion, there are private ‘recovery pods’ adjacent to the surgical theatres, overseen by our nurse practitioners.
Here in the recovery pods, clients can take an hour to ‘get themselves together’ after surgery – there’s no rush, and private washroom facilities are close by. We intend to make your whole experience at The Clinic as excellent as possible
