This month in Beauty, we at House of Desiderata head back to The Clinic at Holland Park to try out their new Morpheus8 facial and get some advice on how to keep our skin as youthful as possible. Our Contributing Editor Gabrielle visited The Clinic at Holland Park earlier this month to discover this facial and learn about some tips and tricks to keep our skin looking as radiant and youthful as ever. As I entered the Clinic I was met with their warm environment and browsed through their featured products before Dr. Jenny came out and we went back to the treatment room. After chatting briefly about the procedure, she removed my makeup, and applied a numbing cream on my face and upper neck area. I was then led into one of their incredibly relaxing waiting rooms for the cream to make my face and neck completely numb.
It takes between 30 and 45 minutes for this to happen and then I was brought back into the treatment room. Unlike previous procedures, the Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radio frequency heat energy in order to tighten our skin. Rather than having an array of needles going in and out of your skin quickly, this device only has around 20 needles and they all go into your skin at the same time, while the RF heat energy is used to help shrink wrap your skin.
