Delving Into the Uses of Polynucleotides
Consultant oculoplastic surgeons provide an introductory overview of polynucleotides and their benefits in aesthetic medicine.
Polynucleotides (PNs) are fairly new to the aesthetic market. They have had a recent uprisal in popularity due to patients searching for alternatives to more traditional dermal filler injectables.
PNs work by stimulating the body’s natural healing and regeneration processes, promoting the production of collagen and elastin, increasing blood flow to targeted areas, stimulating the production of growth factors, and exhibiting anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
